About the Caturday Evening Post:

The Caturday Evening Post, or CEP, is an ongoing project of "pictures, words and ideas" started late Spring of 2009. The CEP started out as a weekly offering, but is now usually published two to three times per month. Most posts contain cats, since everyone knows the Internet is run by cats.

About the name:

The name is a play on the name of the long-running magazine Saturday Evening Post which was founded in 1728 by Benjamin Franklin. Being a fan of cats and also of the internet phenomena of the lolcat and their celebration of Caturday as a day for cats, the name Caturday Evening Post was born. Apologies to Benjamin Franklin.
